How international age works

If your birthday has passed this year: base year - birth year. If not: base year - birth year - 1.

International age starts at 0 on the day you are born and increases by 1 on each birthday. Korea now uses this standard for most legal and administrative age references, though some rules still use a separate year-age basis.
